Mission: It is the mission of Washington County Ambulance Service to provide the most professional and highly trained prehospital care to our county communities and the traveling public. It is our duty to increase public relations within Washington County as well as other local areas and State offices. We will encourage the initial and continuing medical education of the volunteer staff and stay abreast of the ever-changing scopes of practice for our EMTs. We will strive to promote and foster better prehospital intervention for patients and families and work on prehospital issues as they relate to our regional trauma advisory council. We take pride in our volunteer service and will continue to upgrade our ambulances, facilities and billing services to our patient base. We are dedicated to LEARN, LEARN, LEARN and to keep an OPEN MIND about CHANGE!

Update:
Just to clarify for some confusion I've been hearing. This is for Washington County residents. This is happening to the east of the nursing home-not in the nursing home or in the administrative building. This is a drive thru testing; people will not be exiting their vehicles. Hope this helps clarify things. Any questions please ask.

Please help Washington County open more venues. It’s all about numbers – Washington County needs to perform more random testing of COVID-19 to prove to the Northeast Colorado Health Department that our low rate of residents with COVID-19 is in compliance with the variances that have been granted and for future variances. These variances will allow Washington County to have MORE people attend the Fair, attend entertainment venues, and open up businesses. Currently the County would like to test between 150 and 200 people. You do not need to be a town resident and you do not need to have symptoms.
