As Issue #14 on the Summit County ballot, this issue is asking voters to consider a levy renewal and as such, is not a new tax. The Summit County ADM Board will utilize the renewal to maintain current services and invest in new initiatives. A renewal is sufficient for the ADM Board’s current and future activities, in-part, because of increased investments from Ohio through Medicaid expansion and a 63% decrease in opioid deaths since 2016. The ADM Board is responsible for funding over 30 provider agencies across the county and spends 94% of its budget on direct treatment, community support, and education. This levy represents 78% of their overall budget and, if renewed, will continue costing an owner of a $100,000 home about $7 per month. The Greater Akron Chamber is a proud supporter of this levy renewal and asks our community to please vote on November 5th. Learn more about Issue 14:
