Senior DeAllen Jackson scored the game-winning field goal on an alley-oop layup at the buzzer to lead the host Knights to a North Coast League win over the Bruins.

Senior Jaelen Hollinger threw the ball up to Jackson on an inbounds pass with one second left to help the Knights (3-0, 1-0) stay undefeated.

The Knights trailed 25-23 at halftime and outscored the Bruins (1-1, 0-1) 28-24 in the second half and led 49-47 with less than 10 seconds remaining in the game. Bruins senior Ty Ptacek was fouled on a 3-point shot and converted 2-of-3 foul shots to tie the score 49-49 and set up the Knights’ winning play.

Jackson scored 15 points, and Hollinger scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Knights.

Green 68, Highland 55

Senior Dan Fanelly scored 13 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter to help the host Bulldogs (2-0, 1-0 Suburban) defeat the Hornets (1-2, 0-1).

The Bulldogs led 44-40 after the third quarter and outscored the Hornets 24-15 in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Fanelly went 9-of-13 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter and also had 11 rebounds in the game.

Senior Eddie Janini scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, and senior Kenton Keeslar added 10 points for the Bulldogs.

Cuyahoga Falls 68,Ellet 37

Junior Jay Slone and senior Devin Speicher each scored 11 points, and the host Black Tigers (3-0) easily defeated the Orangemen (1-2) in a nonleague game. Junior Dionte Williams led the Orangemen with 13 points.

Nordonia 69, Copley 63

Senior Nick Piotrowski scored 22 points, senior Damon Lester scored 18 and the host Knights (2-0, 1-0) held off a late rally by the Indians (0-3, 0-1) for their first Suburban League win of the season. Senior Kenny Taramore led the Indians with 26 points.

Tallmadge 46, Revere 33

Damon Gridley scored 14 points to lead the visiting Blue Devils (1-1, 1-0) over the Minutemen in a Suburban League game. Sophomore Zach Lalkowski led the Minutemen with 14 points.

Norton 76, Ravenna 57

The host Panthers (2-1, 1-0) outscored the Ravens 46-28 in the second half to rally for the PTC-Metro. Senior Tyler Sherman scored 16 points, and junior Jay Ventura added 15 for the Panthers. Senior Jermaine Justice led the Ravens with 19 points.

Corey Mitchell scored 12 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter to lead the visiting Rough Riders (1-1, 1-0 PTC-Metro) over the Falcons (1-1, 0-1). Miles Wright scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Rough Riders, and Macklin Coleman led the Falcons with 15 points.

Senior J.J. Morrison scored 19 points, senior George Jacobs added 13 and the host Comets (3-0, 1-0 PTC-Metro) defeated the Red Devils.

Senior Jordan Matusik scored a game-high 26 points, and the host Rockets (2-0, 1-0) rolled the Spartans (1-2, 0-1) for their first PTC-Metro win of the season.
