Research a painting of your choice that you wish to paint then learn that art style in either oils or acrylics with plenty of individualized guidance by the instructor! This class will give a good foundation to painting for even the most inexperienced painter. Ages 18 and up.
November 6, 2012This class will cover concepts for the entire process with hands on work focused on modeling and texturing. We will use free software in this class so students can work at home and continue learning after class is over. Students must have basic computer skill. Ages 14 and up.

October 4, 2012Are you the top dog in your home, or is your dog the one who runs the show? Be the master of your domain once again by enrolling Fido in this beginning course to help you gain control! This course will cover basic training in come, sit, down, greeting strangers, stay, and heel along with basic behavioral conditioning to establish pack order in the household.
Ages 10 and up. Participants must be strong enough to handle their dog.
October 3, 2012Clicker training, a common form of positive reinforcement, is a simple and effective training method. The clicker is a metal strip inside a small plastic box that makes a distinct clicking sound when pressed. The click is much faster and more distinct than saying “good dog” and much more effective than using treats alone. Learn how to properly use the clicker to train your dog.
Do not bring your dog to the first day of class.

October 3, 2012Bring your digital camera to class and learn how to take good pictures. You’ll learn how to choose your subject matter; how to frame the subject; which setting to use for the best exposure and how to cut out unwanted things in your pictures.
Students must supply their own cameras.
