Beautiful Thailand by Travel Blogger @joaocajuda
To promote the beauty of Thailand, we would like to share this one from Joao Cajuda, an excellent travel blogger.
The video features many of the tourist attractions visitors can add to their itinerary, when visiting the Kingdom.
Enjoy the splendour of the beaches and clear waters around the coastal areas, where swimming, scuba diving and general frolicking in the water is seen as the norm.
Enjoy the wondrous jungle scenes, featuring treks, wildlife, bathing with elephants, cycling, canoeing and much more.
Visit the illustrious Buddhist temples and places of worship, often featuring gigantic golden statues, which are frequently in idyllic locations, and ideal for photos to send home to the family.
Tree carvings, islands that many will only dream of visiting, street food that is rated as the best in the world or sample the local marketplaces, which are a step back in time, and of course, you can purchase almost anything from fresh food and veg to clothing or gifts to take home with you.
This video is very much aimed at the younger, more adventurous tourist but there is something for everyone in Thailand. It has excitement, danger, thrills and romantic locations for those of you who are outgoing but it also has heavenly beaches, secluded islands, peace and tranquillity for those who simple want to relax, and do nothing more daring than sample the cuisine in a Thai restaurant or sit and watch the world go by with a cold beer in an open-sided bar.
Thailand has it all and is one of those places that must be added to your bucket list, irrespective of age or sex. Everyone is welcome in Thailand, the "land of smiles", where the people are genuinely friendly.

24 things you didn't know you could do on a cruise ship
If you think staying on a cruise ship just means lounging by the pool, think again. Cruise companies are constantly coming up with wild and wacky ways of keeping people entertained. Here are just a few.
1. Try go-karting
Budding Lewis Hamiltons can get their speed thrills on the double-level go-kart track on the Norwegian Joy ship run by Norwegian Cruise Line. Boy and girl racers can whizz round the open-air track on the ship’s top level. It’s so brand new that it’s available only on Norwegian’s Chinese cruises – so far.
2. Pedal in the skies
There’s bike riding – and then there’s the SkyRide found on the Carnival Vista. You’re suspended high above the ship on a two-lane course – safely strapped in, of course – while you’re pedalling in your own reclining open pod. You certainly won’t get views like that at the gym.
3. Zoom along a zip-line
High above the deck – nine levels, to be exact – of the Harmony of the Seas is a zip-line that glides along for an exhilarating 82ft. It’s one of the many free activities offered on this Royal Caribbean ship, but you have to be at least 52 inches tall to be able to ride the zip-line.
4. Ride the bumper cars
If your kids can’t get enough of bashing into each other in amusement park dodgems, let them loose on the electric bumper cars on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas. The ride is part of the ship’s SeaPlex, an enormous sports complex that also includes basketball and a circus school during the day and bumper cars and roller-skating at night.
5. Go rock climbing
Climbing walls have become a popular feature of sports centres, but they can't offer the sea views you’ll get on a cruise ship. Found on many Royal Caribbean liners, these huge climbing walls cater for different levels – and they all come with equipment so you don’t have to bring your own helmets, shoes or harnesses. Kids as young as six are able to get strapped in and get climbing.
6. Tease your brain in an escape room
After a multi-million pound makeover, Independence of the Seas returns Summer 2018 with exciting new activities to get on with. Put your little grey cells to good use in the all-new Escape Room, light up your afternoon with a game of Laser Tag or soar into the sky on the top deck Trampoline Park – a first at sea.
7. Get your ice skates on
Ice-skating in the middle of the Caribbean or the Mediterranean isn’t usually the first thing that springs to mind when the temperatures soar. But if you’re on a select number of Royal Caribbean ships, you’ll be able to borrow some skates and pretend it’s winter. Don’t forget to pack a pair of long trousers, though, as you won’t be allowed to skate without them.
8. Walk over the sea
If you have a head for heights, take a walk on the glass-bottomed SeaWalk on Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess. You’ll be 17 decks high – and 30ft out from the side of the ship – as you take in remarkable views of the sea from the glass walls and floor.
9. Drink in a bionic bar
If you’re worried that robots are taking over the world, you might need a stiff drink to calm you down. Trouble is, on some Royal Caribbean ships, your drink will be made by robots. A tablet takes your order and bionic arms mix your drink – just don’t try to tell the bartender your problems.
10. Get a bird’s-eye view of the sea
Take a ride in the North Star for unforgettable views of the sea. This observation capsule looks like something out of a sci-fi film and takes you 300ft above the sea. You’ll find it on several of Royal Caribbean’s ships, including Ovation of the Seas.
11. Surf the FlowRider
Normally, surfing is something you do once you get off the ship. But the FlowRider surf simulator gives you a chance to try out the sport on more than a dozen of Royal Caribbean’s cruise liners. If you’re a complete novice and feel you need some proper instruction, you could always book a group lesson first.
12. Chill out in an ice bar
If all that sunshine has made you a bit blasé, feel free to get an Arctic blast at the Svedka and Inniskillin Ice Bar on Norwegian’s ships. Everything is made from ice – from the glasses and seats to the walls. That means the bar is kept at a frosty 17C temperature, but you’ll be all snug in polar-proof parkas and gloves.
13. Go skydiving (sort of)
If the idea of skydiving excites you but the thought of jumping out of a plane scares you senseless, then Royal Caribbean’s RipCord by iFly could be the answer. This skydiving simulator sends you down a wind tunnel and gives you the closest sensation to skydiving you can feel without having to do any actual jumping out of planes. Leave that to the daredevils.
14. Ride the world’s tallest slide
The Harmony of the Seas likes to think big. Not only is it the world’s largest cruise ship, but it also has the world’s tallest slide at sea. The Ultimate Abyss is not for the faint hearted. It’s the height of a 10-storey building – about 150ft – and curls and swoops in the shape of an angelfish. But it’s a devil of a ride.
15. Cook your own dinner
Cooking enthusiasts aboard Viking Ocean Cruises can join their chef on a culinary journey from market to kitchen to plate. First, the Kitchen Table participants head to a local market with the chef to source ingredients for their dishes. Upon return, they join the chef in cooking the meal. The evening ends with a feast of local flavours accompanied by wines selected by the ship’s head sommelier.
16. Meet your idol
Backstreet Boys, Frozen or the 80s – whatever your things is, there is a cruise for that. Hop aboard Carnival Sensation in May 2018 to enjoy two Backstreet Boys performances a day, get on Disney Cruise Line with Elsa and Olaf from August 2018 for an unforgettable family holiday or board Celebrity Summit for the ultimate 80s party with appearances from Rick Springfield, Loverboy and Billy Ocean.
17. Get fit
For experienced gym-goers and newcomers alike, the new Blue World Voyages active lifestyle cruise launching in May 2018 is dedicated to sports, fitness and well-being. The passengers will have access to an array of activities – think batting cages, spinning studios and yoga on board and kayaking, scuba diving and hiking ashore.
18. See world-class opera and ballet
Bringing together the best singers from La Scala and ballet dancers from Bolshoi Theatre, these Silversea cruises offer an unprecedented opportunity to see and hear these acclaimed artists on board a cruise ship. The passengers also have a unique opportunity to meet the singers and dancers during Cocktail evening and attend interviews, discussions and lectures.
19. Get married
Tie the knot in style with your own personal wedding coordinator ready to assist you with any request and the Captain conducting the ceremony overlooking Norwegian fjords, Iberian coast or the Caribbean. P&O Cruises offer several wedding packages, a wide range of venues and even pressing services.
20. Watch acrobats perform
Created exclusively for MSC Cruises, two new Cirque du Soleil shows will entertain the guests for six nights a week aboard MSC Meraviglia from July 2017. Known for their visual appeal and high-quality entertainment, Cirque du Soleil artists will perform in a purpose-built lounge, while the guests enjoy dinner and cocktails.
21. Rock out on board
Sailing through the Caribbean in November 2017, The KISS Kruise is a camp for hard-rocking music enthusiasts looking for a good time. Beyond the music, KISS Kruisers can enjoy KISS face painting, a full service tattoo parlour and photoshoots with KISS memorabilia.
22. Feel real grass between your toes
Celebrity Cruises’ Solstice Class ships are the first and only cruise line to offer a lawn of real grass on the top deck. Half an acre large Lawn Club offers an opportunity to play a game of boules or croquet and soak up the country club atmosphere miles away from land.
23. See the stars
Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 can bring out stars even on a cloudy night and travel into outer space thanks to their full-scale planetarium Illuminations. Stargazers can explore galaxies far, far away with three different shows seven days a week.
24. Ride a submersible
If being above the waves becomes a bit ho-hum, take the plunge in a three-man submersible. Crystal Cruises’ Esprit ship gives you the chance to dive to the bottom of the sea – while staying warm and dry – and get close to some marvellous marine life from inside.
