Band Resisted RDL:
This exercise will increase your lower body strength, primarily in the hamstrings and glutes. The band will also help you to master the hip hinging movement.

Chest Press with Alternating Forward Lunge:
This is a functional full body exercise that improves coordination between your upper and lower body. It will also help to improve your coordination, balance and strength.

Core Slider's Elbow Plank Jacks:
This will increase your balance and core strength as well as help to improve stability.

Participants must complete 100km as fast as they can using any cardio machine inside our gym. The participant who completes 100km in the shortest time wins! Our trainers must sign off on ALL participant’s cardio time and distance.

Ramadan is almost done and here you have another perfect workout for after Iftar.

Back Lunges with Shoulder Press:
This exercise will strengthen your core, glutes, quads, hamstrings and shoulders. It’s a compound exercise which will boost your metabolism, trim down body fat, increase muscle power and strength, and sculpt your whole body.

Step Up to Squat with Shoulder Press:
The step up is a unilateral leg exercise, meaning that you train each leg independently. This will help improve the symmetry of your leg musculature and balance. This exercise will also improve your squat and deadlift strength. Combined with the shoulder press, you will improve your balance and work on your shoulders and upper arms

Alternate Rope Slams with Stepper Jumps:
This exercise combines cardio with strength training which is great for burning fat, gaining strength and body sculpting. It’s one time efficient training session!

Bicep Curl>Shoulder Press>Deadlift>Bent Over Row:
When you are strength training, the best tool you can use is the barbell. Strength lifting requires multi-joint exercises known as compound lifts which create tension through different muscles and movement patterns. This stimulates thousands of nerves which are all part of getting stronger.

Landmine Anti Rotation to Reverse Lunge:
A rigid trunk position allows for more force to be transferred through the extremities (legs to abs to arms and vice versa). This exercise requires good stability to start off with.

Kettlebell Pistol Squat to Single Leg Deadlift:
Isolation of each leg will help your balance and strength as well as increase your full range of muscles.

Plate Driver to Sit Ups:
This exercise will work on your core muscles to improve your ability to bear weight and to have a firmer waistline.

The best time to do this workout is 1 hour before Iftar. Fasting and exercise go together perfectly because your body will burn fat faster.

Opt for meals high in protein and fats before fasting and after breaking fast.🥚
By choosing foods that are high in protein such as eggs, chicken, full fat yogurt, beef, lamb and protein powder, you will be able to suppress your hunger more easily. Combine that with high fat foods such as avocados, coconut oil, nuts and fatty fish to leave you more satiated than eating a high carb meal.

WORKOUT OF THE WEEK💪

Yoga while fasting is a life changing spiritual experience. You’ll also feel a deeper stretch when your stomach is empty.

*Start with a short flow of standing side twists and a forward fold, then move into the following poses:
- Warrior one
- Warrior two
- Reverse warrior
- Extended side angle pose

*Make sure to do all exercises on your right and left side.

These poses are considered good for a full body stretch. They strengthen the legs and open the hips and chest.

You have to remain active in the month of Ramadan to stay healthy.🏋🏻‍♂️
Choose a convenient time to work out during Ramadan, either just before Iftar or two to three hours after Iftar. Avoid physical activity immediately after you break your fast as all of the body’s energy will be directed towards digestion of food.💪🏻

Exercising on an empty stomach or when you're fasting is a good way to target that stubborn fat you've had for years. Your body taps into stored fat as a source of energy which means releasing and burning surplus fat.

⚠ Make sure you eat or refuel afterwards to avoid muscle loss. This workout is ideal just before iftar.

Warm Up: 10 mins StairMaster
Exercise 1: Handstand push up

Exercise 6: Pull up

This workout is perfect after Iftar! It is a combination of different exercises for different muscle groups of the body. It will increase body strength, fat burning, flexibility, posture, power and abdominal development. For a challenge, try to complete this circuit as fast as you can and burn all of those calories!

Trap Bar Shoulder Press to Metabolic Up Downs:
This exercise works out the entire body – it improves the strength of your major upper and lower body muscles. Up downs with overhead weights will strengthen your core and improve your stability. It also stretches the hip flexors which will help people who spend long hours sitting (in cars or at office desks).

Neutral Trap Bar Push Ups:
This will work your arms, chest and shoulders with a greater range of motion and avoid stress on the wrist. By adding knee pulls, it adds a challenge and works to strengthen the core.

Hex Bar Jump Squats:
This will help improve your leg power to run faster and to jump higher. It also explosively trains the simultaneous extension of the hip, knee and ankle joints.

Lateral plank with raised leg and hand:
The Lateral plank is good for core stability and strength. It will also improve your balance.

Biceps curl with abdominal curl:
The Biceps curl can increase your biceps size and strength, which mainly benefits you when doing pulling movements. The Abdominal curl strengthens the abdominals without the "six pack" muscle dominating the other muscles.

Jumping squat with pushing tire:
This is a plyometric exercise. The Jumping squat will improve your upper and lower body strength, and burn calories faster than regular squats. Pushing the tire covers all the bases – your core, back, legs, arms and shoulders.

Lunges with Bicep Curl:
Lunges are best known for shaping your buttocks, strengthening your lower body, increasing your core strength and building your leg muscles. Meanwhile, the added bicep curl makes this a great full-body workout.

Ball Slam Burpee:
The ball slam targets the muscles in your arms, shoulders, core and lats. The burpee targets your shoulders, core and legs. Both exercises are metabolic in nature so they strengthen your muscles while raising your heart rate for a cardio workout too.

Dumbbell Pushup to Row:
You'll simultaneously build your back and chest muscles, which not only saves you time, but also helps prevent muscle imbalances of your upper body.

A dynamic compound exercise that works shoulders, biceps, triceps, chest, core, back, and hips for building muscular strength and endurance.

- Battling Double Rope to Alternate Slam with Lateral Shuffle:
