My Story

I am a self taught Nail Artist and a fully qualified nail technician who graduated from Monaco Nail Industry in 2018. I am qualified in both acrylics and hard gels but my passion has always been Nail Art. I may be useless with an easel and a paint brush but can sure bring art to life on your nails.

My love of nail art gradually grew a from a few years ago. I had imagined my nails looking a certain way and being the person that I am, once I have an image in my head, I have to bring that image to life. I started off with just traditional polishes from the $2 shop that only lasted a few hours after spending those hours air drying them off. As you can guess, I recreated that image and at first it didn’t turn out the way I imagined it but that only motivated me more to do better.

As the years went by, I had gotten better and better and actually received a few compliments from family and people from the public. I had also purchased better traditional polishes too like OPI, Essie, Sally Hansen etc. I had a reasonable collection and had starting not only painting my own nails but my sisters’ nails too. Instagram and Pinterest launched and I had gotten more ideas from that platform and had realized how massive the nail industry is.

I had gotten more interested in other varieties of nail products like acrylics, tips and hard gels. In 2015 I had started to think that this hobby can be turned into a career but I feared and started thinking about the “what if’s”. What if I don’t get customers?, what if they don’t like the design?, what if I lose a lot of money? Those questions were nightmares until I started searching up how to become qualified.
