The timing didn’t feel right straight after COVID 19, but after a lot of thought I realised we haven't put prices up in 9 years and as I am one of the small businesses which was hard hit by lockdown I’d appreciate your support. I hope you all understand.

[03/25/19]   Seen a few v sore ppl after marathon gardening sessions. Treat it like you would other intense exercise: stretch, warm up, hydrate, see our masseuse before and take regular breaks. Even the All Blacks get half time!

I have been taking part in Movember. I started looking into the Gender health gap and its startling how guys on average die younger and the varied reasons for that. I thought I would put together some questions for the blokes to either fill in or just spend 5 minutes thinking about.

Physical health (guys report health problems later and visit health care professionals significantly less):

Are you registered with a GP? If not why not?
How easily could you book an appointment? Is the number in your phone?
How early would you report an injury? Would telling someone at a different time be better for your health?
Who in your friends or relatives would you talk to if worried about your health?
Do you check your testicles for lumps? Do you even know what you're feeling for?
What age will you start getting your prostate checked?
How often have you said "she'll be right" and taken a concrete pill when you should have gone to the doctors?

Risk taking (guys die or are seriously injured at work and in accidents more often and at younger ages):

Are there any good reasons to risk short term injury at work?
Same question but with serious injury?
Same question but this time risking death?
Are you/your family financially secure if you have to take a while off work to recover from an illness?
Do you regularly take undue risks (like driving too fast)? Could you reduce this risk some how?

Mental health (the suicide rate amongst guys is way higher than girls):

Who would you talk to if you were stressed?
Who would ask you if you were OK if you looked depressed? (this is a very different question)
How do you manage your stress? Could you do that better?
Would you talk to a counselor if you got very depressed?
Would you notice if bad habits were forming? (eg. gambling or drinking too much)
