Please NAMFISA, can you please advise OLD MUTUAL and ENTREPO to give us a 3 months payment holiday on our loans like LETSHEGO is doing please, we have children in tertiary institutions who will now be studying online, we need to buy them laptops and install WI-FI for them please, plus most of our relatives worked for the private sector and won't be getting salaries now, we can't afford to help them on what is remaining on our salaries please, that 250 grant per week isn't enough for them since most of them are in families more than 10 members. Help us please, next of next week Monday is pay day for us teachers already on the 20th, advice them not to deduct please 🙏🙏🙏

The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) exists to supervise financial institutions and financial services and to advise the Minister of Finance on the matters relating to financial institutions and services in terms of NAMFISA Act No. 3 of 2001. This relates inter alia to the business of the Long-term Insurance; Short-term Insurance; Asset Management; Unit Trusts (Collective Investment Schemes); Pension Funds; Medical Aid Funds; Public Accountants and Auditors; Exchanges, Stock Brokers; Brokers and Agents of Insurance companies and Money Lenders. Recently, NAMFISA hosted its annual year-end function at Safari Hotel. Apart from the good event premised on the NAMFISA value of Teamwork, the authority had a chance to recognize, thank and present long service awards to its long serving staff. The awards were broken down into three (3) parts, five (5) years, ten (10) years and fifteen (15) years of service. Present at the event to do the award handing over was NAMFISA’s CEO Mr. Kenneth Matomola.
