Hi there Hope you are well. What is the current waiting time on emails sent to: [email protected] ? Thanks :)
Local theatre and performance arts groups wanted for consultation stage redevelopment of local community hall. We are interesting in contacting local theatre groups and performance arts groups in order to talk to them about the possibility of using our community hall facilities in the future. We would like to get their input as to what facilities they need and whether they would consider using our hall. We would also like to hear from anyone who is considering using a community hall for their activities. This could be community groups, dance groups, aerobics, keep fit, senior citizens' groups, parent and toddler, etc. Please message me for further info. The community hall is located in Sheffield 12.

Is there any update on shows due to be on after 23rd May as I'm assuming many more will not be on. Got tickets for Billionaire Boy on June 6th, so just wondering if this will be cancelled/rescheduled?
Any idea about refunds? Obviously I know that performance will not go ahead this Saturday 18th April. No communication from the Lyceum at all.
have written 3 times to theatre as they cancelled shows. had booked for 2 seats and 2 dinners, cannot get through on phone and they have totally ignored my messages.asked for refund as they state. An awful lot of money to lose. Regularly book tickets but this is bad customer service. Nobody can afford to lose this amount of money

Our Open Submissions Programme is underway! Take part in our online meeting on Mon 30 November where we welcome artists, audiences and Sheffield residents to discuss the city, culture and what they want to see on the Crucible stage.

The Open Submissions Programme invites local artists to submit their work to be reviewed by a panel of audience members, local people, artists and theatre representatives, which will then form the programme for Feb 2021.

To find out more and get your free ticket, visit http://bit.ly/STTOSP20

Following the announcement that Sheffield will be placed into Tier 3 once the current national lockdown ends, we remain committed to doing everything we can to bring the magic of panto to Sheffield this year.

It’s a relief to know that we are able to continue to rehearse shows under the current Tier 3 guidance. Our rehearsals for Damian’s Pop Up Panto will begin on Sun 6 December and we’ll be preparing to welcome audiences back to the buildings from Wed 16 December.

We know that if we remain in Tier 3 we won’t be able to reopen to the public. We are remaining hopeful that the spread of the virus will slow and that we may move down to Tier 2, in which case we can reopen the Crucible’s doors. Should Sheffield remain in Tier 3 when the first review takes place, we’ll adjust our plans and we hope to share the pantomime online.

If ever there was a year when we need the joy of pantomime, it’s this one and if ever there was a time for us to draw on all our reserves of hope, it’s now!

Here's What She Said to Me | Interview with the director

We caught up with the director of Here's What She Said to Me, Mojisola Elufowoju, to find out all about the show, and what it'll be like to be the first theatre production on the Crucible stage in over seven months! Opens this Friday.

With only 4 days left! Until our Together Season opens with Here's What She Said to Me, we stepped into the rehearsal room to take a few photos.

Opening this Friday Here's What She Said to Me tells the story of three generations of proud African woman sharing their struggles, joys and broken dreams. https://bit.ly/37Pkbv5

We are over the moon that we have received funding thanks to the government’s #CultureRecoveryFund so that we can continue to be here for you and #HereForCulture. Thanks to DCMS, HM Treasury and Arts Council England.

This funding is a vital lifeline that will enable us to continue to make bold and brilliant theatre in Sheffield, to provide employment to artists and theatre professionals, and be able to further adapt our buildings and performance spaces as we look towards full reopening.

We're back! The first theatre production on the Crucible stage in over 7 months will be Here's What She Said to Me.

A moving story of daughters and mothers in a world full of change. Three generations of proud African woman connect with each other across two continents as they share their struggles, joys, tragedies and broken dreams as they try to move forward.
