GALLERY OPEN SATURDAY & SUNDAY, 1–6 pm, featuring Caterina Gobbi: ‘my eyes are wild, my lips tight pressed’. Come through—only 1 week left of the show!

ZÖNOTÉKA is open today from 1–6 pm, featuring Caterina Gobbi: ‘my eyes are wild, my lips tight pressed’. 🌹 Our exhibition curator, Johanna Hardt, is also in attendance ! ✨ From her curatorial text:
“In reference to important work that has been done on the interconnection between queer theory and environmental thought, Caterina explores how queer desire relates to our perceptions of nature. How do politics, nature, desire and sex intersect? How are some sexual acts considered as being against nature and others natural?”

... today is the closing day of Abris Gryllus: Post_ x Vorspiel / transmediale & CTM 2018 exhibition ...

ZÖNOTÉKA's cover photo

Nice memories from the beginning of this month. You can visit POST_ exhibition until 24 February on Thu-Fri 15-19h / Sat 14-18h and by appointment. -- photos -- Barbara Antal / CHB - Collegium Hungaricum Berlin

Post_ is part of an ongoing collaboration process between Ábris Gryllus and Tamara. Zsófia. Vadas. The installation creates a visual parallel to a musical concept which is based on a modular musical piece Post_ 01. The recorded movement is focusing on the same themes - the condition of post and the nature of aftermaths, abstractions of known and unknown social behaviours and the profanity of modern day rituals.

The opening event Exercises of an Eternal Holiday was performed at ZÖNOTÉKA. The project is part of CHB - Collegium Hungaricum Berlin’s Human Signals event series curated by Let it Be! art agency and an official program of Vorspiel / transmediale & CTM 2018.
