Now offering Positional Release!

For those who are interested, I will now be incorporating these fascinating new techniques into my massages. Continue reading below if you would like to learn more, or check out my description online:

This technique involves locating and monitoring a tender area, restriction or trigger point. The associated area, tissues, and joints are then passively moved to place the body into a position of ease or relief, in turn, providing the opportunity for the pain or discomfort to decrease.

This type of treatment is incorporated into my treatments along with massage. It may be effective for treating the following conditions:

- Acute injuries (trauma, whiplash, sports injuries, strains)
- Chronic discomforts that are too tender to massage or have trouble releasing
- Post-operative discomfort
- Osteoporosis
- Headaches
- Fibromyalgia
- Respiratory conditions (relating to restricted diaphragm, rib, and spinal restrictions)
- Neurological conditions (discomforts and dysfunctions related to stroke, brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, degenerative diseases)

If you have any questions regarding what Positional Release can do for you, get in contact via [email protected]. Massage Therapist in Women's College Hospital and the King West Community

Small, light and unconventional: How does De Grasse do it? /via @globeandmail… It’s hard to explain, but experts would love to try. Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse, at 5-foot-9 and 154 pounds and with a running style that has his right arm flying behind him, doesn’t fit the conventional mold of a world class sprinter, reports Rachel Brady. So why’s he so fast?
