- Take pictures to document any item if discarded.

Some tips to help keep you safe during a #floodwatch:
- If outdoors, stay out of standing water and climb to higher ground to avoid hazards from floating debris, sewer contamination, and live electrical wires.
- Never go near or touch fallen power lines or downed trees that may have power lines tangled in them.
- Listen for the latest emergency information. If told to leave your area, follow recommended evacuation routes.
- In a vehicle and see a flooded area? Turn around, head for elevated ground and park there!
Flood safety tip: If you have time, move electronic equipment and other items out of the basement to a higher floor. Never unplug an appliance if you have to stand in water or a damp floor to do it.
