Robert Hooper practises exclusively plaintiff personal injury litigation predominantly in Hamilton, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1991 and went on to article at Blake Cassels Graydon in Toronto.

After articles, Rob Hooper moved to Hamilton to practice with the insurance defence of Sullivan Festeryga Lawlor & Arrell. After years of doing defence work, he switched teams to work with Morris Law Group. In March, 2001, he struck out on his own and created Hooper Law Offices.

Hooper Law Offices is built on reputation of excelling at trial work. Rob Hooper can be found, when not practicing law, doing charity work for Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Living Rock, and Walk With Me Canada. In his spare time, he is the head coach of the Redeemer University Women’s Basketball Team.

The Hamilton Law Association is pleased to announce that, as of April 28th 2017, one of our longstanding members, Claire Wilkinson, has been named President of the Ontario Trial Lawyer’s Association.

Claire Wilkinson, of Martin & Hillyer Associates, specializes in personal injury and insurance litigation. A large percentage of Claire's practice is dedicated to assisting survivors of sexual abuse. Claire also represents persons seriously injured by motor vehicle collisions, product liability, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and other areas of personal injury litigation.

Claire graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1990, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy. Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 1993, and was called to the bar in 1995. Claire has been practicing law with Martin and Hillyer Associates in Burlington since 1995.

Claire is also a Past President of the Halton County Law Association. She also sits on the board of the Peel Halton Dufferin Acquired Brain Injury Services board (PHADBIS), and is an Ontario Governor for the American Association for Justice. Claire is also a member of the United Way legal committee for Hamilton and Burlington.
