Gingivitis is a non-destructive type of periodontal disease, but untreated gingivitis can progress to periodontitis. This is more serious and can eventually lead to loss of teeth.

Know the Causes and treatment of gingivitis

Parents often wonder when to take their babies for their first dental check-up, it is best to take your baby to the dentist as soon as the first teeth erupt, as it is beneficial for your child’s oral health in the long run. Baby teeth may not last long, but getting them checked early ensures that they will be on track with their oral health in future.

The dentist performs a quick examination looking for any issues such as bottle tooth decay, gums, jaw, bite, frenulum issues, or other problems that may affect teeth or speech patterns. The dentist will also probably talk to you about good oral hygiene and allow you to ask any questions you may have. You may even want to bring a list of questions to the appointment.

We have to start them young. In general, your baby's first dental visit will be on his first birthday. Make this an exciting time and by doing this they will get accustomed to the dentist, the clinic, and the environment and will make dental appointments in the future a breeze!

When you're a Queen and you know it! :)
