MENTAL HEALTH CLASH - In memory of Ben Walsh ✨

THIS FRIDAY!!💛 We hope to see as many as we can get down to Sir Ross Mclarty Oval this Friday when the Pinjarra Tigers take on the Waroona Football & Netball Club in our Annual Mental Health Clash.

The past few years, both clubs and communities have been hit hard & we’ve come together to fight to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health & raise the much needed awareness by wearing the reserve style jumpers our clubs have designed. We will also fundraise for our LOCAL organisation - The Peel Health Hub Peel Youth Medical Service.

Earlier this year, we sadly lost local legend, past player, long time sponsor and supporter of the club Ben and would like to dedicate this game for him and give him the much deserved send off he deserves! Ben’s family will be in attendance and his 2 sons will be doing the toss and presenting the match day ball to the Best on Ground ✨

We would also like to thank the Peel Football Umpires Association for coming onboard to umpire our exhibition match. The PFUA sadly lost goal umpire legend Dean Mabbs late last year. Thank you for coming onboard and helping us with our mission🙏🏼

The Pinjarra Tigers are excited to announce that we will be hosting the annual mental health clash against the Waroona Football & Netball Club this year as a expedition match on Friday 4th September, 6.30pm

The Pinjarra Tigers, will be dedicating the night - To local legend, long time sponsor and supporter of the club, Ben Walsh 💛 The Walsh family would like to invite all his friends and family down to the club to celebrate Ben’s life✨

Should have been Round 1 for season 2020 this weekend for footy and netball. Waroona set to take on Baldivis.

So the club might be shut down for the foreseeable future but there are still a few loyal members that just can’t help but make the club and surrounds better while they have a bit of spare time with no competition happening.

A big thanks to Dave Blackman and Quinton Evans
for their efforts this morning. The players race has been something that has been “on the list” of jobs to do for as long as I can remember. But finally someone took the job on and made it safer for all involved.

Might even make it possible to get the water cart up into the changerooms without having to spill
half of its contents in the process ! 😉
