In appreciation for the support of the Waroona Bowling club towards our business, starting this week any members, either full or social who purchase a meat pack from us, we will be giving to the Waroona Bowling club $2 from every meatpack bought by it's members. So all Waroona Bowling club members who purchase a meatpack from us just need to prove their membership at delivery to earn for their club. The bowling club is closed for the next month. This means Friday nights, Thursday Scroungers , the presentation Dinner on 18th April and all bowling days. Members are welcome to practice at their own risk. Information will be updated at the end of April. Thank you for your attention.

Today we played scroungers in the morning before men’s championship finals

19 Players turned up to play. Crystal Maybourne a new player was the winner of the morning. Well done Crystal.

After lunch the men played off in the singles and the plate final.

Ladies Gala Day.
Last friday the Waroona ladies hosted their Gala Day with 26 teams 104 bowlers. Pinjarra came out winners.
Everybody's talking about what a great day they had. The new sprayers on A green were a big hit on such a hot day.
Well done to all of our ladies who put in such a fantastic effort even being short handed due to having to put in a team at the last minute.
As usual you all did us proud. Thank you.

So today, this team went to Brunswick for a mixed 4's comp. We came 3rd overall. I have had a fantastic week of bowls. Well done guys.

Joe Dinely & Warren Felsch played off for the Novice event, with Joe Dinely eventually being the winner with 25 shots up, the scores where close all the way through the game.

Kevin MacDonald, Bob Clark, Barry Bond, Colin Yates, Phil Turner, Alan Lochowicz played off in the Veterans event. Barry Bond & Colin Yates played off in the final with Colin the eventual winner, this game was also tight right through to the end.

Waroona Ladies played their triples over 2 weeks. With 5 teams competing. The winners were Sharyee Hayes, Deb Marshall and Jenni Riley. Runners Up Adrienne Bellairs, Val Jones and Roz Pich. We'll done ladies.

6 teams played off for the championship Triples on Sunday with Mick Lloyd Allan Lochowicz and Harvey Richardson playing off against Kevin Vaughan John Hiller and Joe Dinely . Mick Lloyd's team was the winner in a close final scoring 16 points to 15. We'll done guys.

Last week Waroona hosted the ILRR Pairs. Four leagues competed in a 2 day tournament to determine a South West winner and The Murray League were R/U. Waroona had 3 ladies chosen to represent, Adrienne Bellairs, Sharyee Hayes and Sher Sharpe. Very proud of Sharyee who was selected to represent SW in the State Zone Competition in Jurien Bay next year. Well done Sharyee.

Successful day from the Waroona squad today at the Murray League Open. 3 teams represented Waroona today and took out the overall win out of all clubs from the Murray League. Was a mile stone as it was the first time winning since 1997.
