I am a lucky Mum of two beautiful babies and an amazing supportive partner. I have a lot of personal experience with fitness and can relate to woman post and prenatal training to achieve their goals with their busy lives juggling kids, work and everything life throws at you. I am obsessed with hemp seeds at the moment not only do I love the taste and the fact I can put them on basically everything, they're SOOOO good for you.

Hemp seeds contain both Omega 3 and Omega 6 and are high in protein, they also contain vitamin E and minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc 😍😍

Motivation? I'm starting to dislike this word slightly! It's such a broad way to describe someone or a feeling or how you achieved something.

You need more than just "motivation" to get results and achieve goals. EVERYONE feels demotivated sometimes. Like me this morning.... low energy, to be honest just in a CBF kinda mood. How did I drag myself to workout??? Motivation???? Absolutely NOT!!! pure discipline!!! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

If you are constantly having the motivation battle with yourself, instead of beating yourself up try discipline, accountability or small rewards for yourself and only do a low intensity workout.

It can some times be hard to find time to fit in a work out during school holidays πŸ˜₯ here are some of my top tips and tricks! Remember a short work out is better then no work out at all.

πŸ”·οΈ Take the kids to the park and while you are trying to wear them out before bed time. Join in!! It's a win for everyone.

πŸ”·οΈ I always take my kids for a walk and my eldest thinks it's a "game" to do little exercises along the way. E.g. Do high knees to the next tree.

πŸ”·οΈ While the kids are playing on the playground use it as exercise equipment. The platforms are perfect for doing jump squats or tricep dips and monkey bars are great for pull ups. πŸ’ͺ

1. Sunshine
Vitamin D we get from exposure to the sun has awesome benefits (when you do it in moderation, obvs). Its a common treatment for depression and other mood disorders. Unsurprising really when you thin about how fabulous you feel when you step into sun rays. Endorphins (which lift your mood)are released by the body when you get some sun. Yahoo!

2. Mental Stimulation
Get outside for mental stimulation that indoor exercise just doesn’t seem to give. Staring at the same 4 walls of your house or gym can be pretty dull, so take it outside for some brain stimulation and give your mind a workout too!

3. Psychological Benefits
An increasing amount of research shows outdoor activity is great for the mind. Exercising among trees and wildlife can give you a healthy mood boost and can help to combat anxiety and stress. Bonus points if you take your shoes off to feel the grass on your feet.

4. New Exercises
Despite claims that machines are a great simulation of the real thing, using a treadmill day in and day out will use the same muscles. Step outside for different inclines and street camber to switch on those muscles you never thought you had!

5. More varied workout
Outside you’ll find different terrain that can’t properly be simulated in the studio. You hit hills and different surfaces (think grade, mud, concrete, gravel) and flex limbs in different ways to handle it. Isn’t that more fun than the cross trainer with a TV?!
