Museum dedicated to the dachshund dog.
Dachshund museum & gift shop
Hmmm...I reckon there's a few Dachshund positions are missing... 🤔🥰
Which one is your dog(z)? Clair’s the bagel and Trubie is a cross between the Sistine chapel and the breakdance 🐕🐕😂
A bit of Sunday fun. Let's see your dachshund's facts...copy and paste and write in your sausage's answers.
My name is: Neddy von Noodle
My nickname is : Oi get off there Ned!
My breed is: dachshund
My age is: 10
My favorite human food is: No such thing, it's all Neddy food.
My biggest fear is: when mumma farts when I'm under the doona.
My favorite thing to do: climbing up on things (especially visitors).
What I hate most: sharing my mumma
Where do I sleep: in my bed that I let mumma sleep in.
Do I love car rides? Yes. I curl up and go to sleep.
Do I snore? No, but mumma does.

Thursday fun :)
Now Dach's a Gallery will continue to remain closed throughout May and June. Hopefully we will be set to go again, as a shop, by 1st July. However, the museum will remain closed until further notice.
Thank you for your understanding.
Have a lovely Mother's Day to all the mums out there. xoxo
Shop online at my REDBUBBLE shop. Heaps of dachshund designs :) https://www.redbubble.com/people/Khanagirl/shop?anchor=profile&asc=u&ref=account-nav-dropdown
"They told us to stay home and keep busy, so... we did!" :D
Stay healthy, stay safe, and stay home everyone
I tried to start an aerobics class with Max and Neddy. They just looked at me. Artwork by me ;)

Neddy in the museum. He didn't want to come out. Finally he did when I said "bikkie" 😂
[03/28/20] Stay at home and play with your dachshunds :)
"Just a little Dog Ross throwback to brighten up your quarantine days 🙂"
Neddy von Noodle still sits in his window spot watching the world go by. We are lucky to have our home adjoin the shop & museum and sometimes (almost every day) we go in for a while to do some design work. Today I was working from home (I also work at our local paper 'The West Wimmera Advocate') for a while. The newspaper office is just under 100 metres away so handy for commuting. https://www.facebook.com/wwadvocate/
[03/27/20] I had a lovely message from one of Now Dach's a Gallery's consignment sellers earlier today, I won't mention names but she has kindly DONATED her stock to us to sell without paying her commission. Thank you!😍🥰😘
[03/26/20] How are you and your dachshunds keeping entertained during these times? Post a pic.
I have raised the museum blinds and rearranged a bit of the displays so people can still enjoy the dachshund museum, well part of it.
We are CLOSED so please don't ask to come in, hence why I have done this.
Stay well everyone xo
“He who purchases the household paper products, has the power. 😝”
But seriously, don’t hoard, buy things as normal, things will restock.
We are now officially closed until further notice.
At least we live on the premises and we can still "hang out" in the shop/museum.
Give us a wave when you pass by!
Now Dach's a Gallery is taking part in the Edenhope Garage Sale Trail which is happening tomorrow from 8.30 - 4pm!
Make sure you pop in and see what treasures we have.
From succulents to collectables and more.
Tomorrow is our last day of trading and who knows when we will re-open! Come along and support a small Edenhope business!
Another small business shutting its doors while this virus runs its course. I feel for them xoxo
With great sadness the puppet shop is closing at 4 pm tomorrow until whenever. I opened 3 years ago next month and have enjoyed every moment of being a part of our community and sharing imaginative play with everyone. I look forward to when we will all celebrate the painting of our silos and we can once again come together as a strong community.❤
An important notice regarding the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and our small business.
As of 22 March 2020 Now Dach's a Gallery (Dachshund Museum) will be closed to the public until further notice.
However, our design & print services will still be available by appointment (call ahead) 0432 572 449 or email files [email protected]
We are concerned, being mainly a tourism business, a traveller could visit and pass on the virus to our vulnerable residents.
We have not taken this decision lightly and apologise for any inconvenience.
We wish everyone good health!
Diana Lee Saville
Currently in store!
An interesting fellow travelling in a group from Tasmania, (who didn't want to be photographed) visited today on this big BMW bike. I took the opportunity to get some shots of it (being a German bike) outside the museum.
Jess & Nash visited today. Jess's hubby is building the new motor cross track just outside of Edenhope. Thanks for coming! Looking forward to catching up again xo
[03/10/20] We will be closed on Wednesday 11 March, sorry for any inconvenience!
Only a few months to go!!!
Shanon, Merlot & Maria from Heathcote popped in today. Apologies for Neddy's grumpy mood. Xoxo
Congrats!!! WIRED DACHSHUND WINS BEST IN SHOW AT CRUFTS!!!
#Crufts Best in Show 2020 goes to... Maisie the Wire Haired Dachshund 🐶🏆💚
A group of Geelong ladies stopped and asked me to take their photo today. They were off to the Edenhope Cup.
Wendy & Annabel popped in to visit between races (It's the Edenhope Cup today). Both girls are from Heathmere near Portland. :) Thanks for coming.
Now Dach’s a Gallery is the dachshund place to visit in Western Victoria.
Situated on the main street of Edenhope, the museum is within easy walking distance of a great coffee shop and public amenities.
The museum opened its door unofficially on 13 January 2018. A Official Opening (read further down the page) is being planned.
The gallery/museum will be forever changing so one visit will never be enough! New items will be added on a regular basis!
The Dachshund Gallery
The gallery section will features quirky works of dachshund art by Diana-Lee Saville. These artworks will be available for sale as posters or framed.
The Dachshund Museum
This section features collectable and antique statues, books, bags, swap cards and other dachshund memorabilia. One wall will hosts a collection of old time movie stars and their own dachshunds, while another wall is devoted to vintage and retro advertising featuring dachshunds.
The Dachs Bus Stop room
An extension of the museum with interesting trivia and a bit of history on the breed. This area will be used for art workshops or meetings (after hours). This area will also have non-dachshund related artwork on display.
The Dachs Shop
The shop stocks a variety of locally made (dachshund and non dachshund) products, artwork, photography, post cards, cards, gifts, flowers, souvenirs etc.
The shop welcomes micro/small businesses a small space to sell their stock on a commission basis. For this service please call Diana on 0432 572 449.
Will be available for overseas customers. Stay tuned :)
Design & Artwork
We are available to create cartoon style artworks of your animals or humans.
The official opening will be held sometime in March. It will be on a Saturday to give guests time to head home on Sunday. There will be a range of activities including a “March of the Dachshunds” down to the local lake.
